Opening Ceremony | 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Join us for our Opening Ceremony as we kick off the weekend. We will highlight key events and how you can help support this year's charity Dogs Trust.
Cosplay Competitions: Don't Let Them Scare You! | 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
This is a panel for anyone interested in cosplay competitions, from beginners to seasoned pros. Cosplay contests, no matter how big or small, can be intimidating, so Bambi will share her knowledge as both a judge and competitor to demystify everything that goes on both onstage and off. She will also give some hard-earned tips and tricks both for preparing for contests and how to have fun during them!
Introduction to big hats and how to make them for cosplay | 12 AM - 1 PM
An upgrade from last year’s panel, this session will go into more detail about materials and techniques used to make large headwear for cosplay. Using demo pieces, attendees will leave the panel with knowledge on how to make their own hats for their costumes.
Lens and Limits: Cosplay Photography Must-Knows! | 1 PM - 2 PM
Representing as members of CPAI (Cosplay Photographers Association of Ireland), the panelists will discuss cosplay photography etiquette, covering the essential do’s and don’ts as well as copyright issues. They aim to educate attendees on the correct usage of imagery in terms of copyrights, how to have successful shoots, editing, and what can help create synergy between the photographer and cosplayer.
Cosplay Masquerade | 2 PM - 3:30 PM
Watch all of the incredible cosplays our community has made take to the stage to show off their hard work.
Entrants must sign up online before 2pm Thursday 21st August online on our website. Under 16s can sign up online or on the day before 12pm Saturday 23rd August.
Cosplay Q&A | 4 PM - 5 PM
Join our cosplay guests Bambi Lashes, Matthew Barry, and Alyssa Axen for this Cosplay Q&A! Find out how they started the hobby, what’s their favourite part of conventions, and what tips they might have for someone starting the hobby!

Cosplay Research: Learning is Half The Battle | 11 AM - 12 PM
How do I do this, and where do i start? A introduction into researching well for cosplay: focusing on how to work smarter, plan safer, finding good resources and more to get you on the right track for your cosplay and future plans!
Cosplay for Cheapos | 12 PM - 1 PM [Cancelled]
A panel about cosplaying on an extreme budget, sharing information and tricks to create costumes without having access to expensive equipment or materials by using other techniques and resources that achieve similar results. It will also cover where and how to access materials cheaply or for free.
Japanese 101: Crash Guide to Your First Trip to Japan | 1 PM - 2 PM
A crash course guide on the Japanese language as well as tips and tricks for successfully navigating a first trip to Japan.
Cosplay Pro Competition | 2 PM - 3:30 PM
Come watch our professional cosplay contestants take to the stage! Contestants will each perform on stage to show off their exceptional cosplay work for the chance to win part of our €750 prize pool! Sign ups are now closed, but make sure to attend to support all of our fantastic entrants!
Winning Pages & Cosplay Critiques | 4 PM - 5 PM
Learn tips and tricks on how to refine and create an award winning build book that will resonate with judges and aid your competitive journey. Stay and discuss how to give good feedback when critically analyzing a costume and the do's and don'ts of receiving feedback. Whether you're looking to judge for a contest, judge your friends, or judge yourself. Listen to a few ideas that may help others build better costumes or help you understand how to process critique.

An introduction to anime and manga for parents of fans, with a focus on safeguarding, picking age appropriate titles, and developing literacy.

The legally distinct gameshow returns with a stronger focus on cosplay themes and the as gaeilge category. Fun is guaranteed as friends are exposed for their lack of knowledge!
Foamschool 101: Propmaking | 11 AM - 12 PM - Panel Room 2
An in-depth guide to armor and prop making in cosplay with EVA foam, covering the full process from planning and pattern making to assembly, detailing, sealing, painting, and weathering.
Art School for Cosplayers! (And Cosplay Photographers...) | 1 PM - 2 PM - Panel Room 1
Speedrun your own Fine Art degre in this seminar-style panel with Sarah McCostumes, as they take you though (almost) everything they learned about cosplay at Art School in just one hour!

An updated debunk and thorough look into One Piece and how it connects us through it’s world, identity and the journal.

Is your life is too happy? Are you bored of the sentimental anime that plague our medium? Want something that will leave you feeling a more lasting pain? This panel explores the world of psychological horror in manga- the IRL pain endgame.

How To Take Your Clothes Off On Stage (13+) | 10 AM - 11 AM - Panel Room 1
A guide to cosplay quick-changes and other costume-based stagecraft! Sarah McCostumes shares their experiences of cosplay & drag performance experience, and teaches you some of the many different technical and creative approaches to taking one's clothes off on stage.
Games of Praise Cosplay Edition | 10 AM - 11 AM - Panel Room 2
Join TheGreatKDB on the path of the good, the bad and downright bizarre of mythological/faith based video games both retro and new. On this journey we will dive into how folks adapted cosplays from these games.
Texture Lecture | 1 PM - 2 PM - Panel Room 1
Teyrncrow will explain how to create a variety of textures across different materials, such as achieving a leather effect on a 3D print versus on foam, creating a rust look, producing more realistic metallics, and adding a wood grain effect, among others.

Syen will explore Avatar (2009) and Avatar: The Way of Water in depth, discussing Na’vi cultural traditions, highlighting details viewers may have missed, and adding context from the comics.

An overview and history of the (Shin) Megami Tensei franchise and its spinoffs to show more people the wide range of experiences it offers beyond just the Persona side series.

Step into the world of anime and manga translation, as well as video game localization, with practical tips and real examples.
Breathe - It’s Corset Time | 4 PM - 5 PM - Panel Room 2
This panel explores corsetry and cosplay. It busts common myths and presents historical and modern techniques. Attendees will learn how corsetry can provide support, shape silhouettes, and elevate costumes to achieve their cosplay goals.

SATURDAY
Thread Poet Society Redux: Crewel Intentions | 10 AM - 12 PM
This workshop will cover the fundamental basics of crewel embroidery. Using simple materials and thread, participants will explore basic crewel stitches used to create designs. Hands-on instruction will be provided to guide them as they discover the world of crewel embroidery. The ability to thread a needle is helpful, but no prior embroidery experience is necessary.
Amigurumi 101 | 12 PM - 2 PM
Have you seen those crocheted plushies and wondered how they’re made? Want to start learning how to crochet but don’t know how to start? Join Sakura as she goes through the basics of crocheting and make your very first amigurumi!
Friendship Bracelet Workshop | 2 PM - 4 PM
Come make your Okamicon Friendship Bracelet! Beads are supplied and no sign up is required. Just walk-in! Suitable for all-ages. Children under 13 years old must be under adult supervision to partake in this workshop.
Drawing anthro: art in the furry fandom (16+) | 4 PM - 5 PM
A demonstration and tutorial on drawing anthro characters from head to full body, with a focus on digital art and free apps. Jynx will guide attendees in designing an OC with colours, patterns, and basic theory, with materials provided for those sketching on paper. The panel also covers furry fandom art, commissions, self-promotion, and showcases Irish furry artists.

Quiet Origami Time | 10 AM - 12 PM
Quiet workshop session for learning and making origami. Jericho can teach how to make various origami in a quiet relaxing environment.
Hand Sewing for Absolute Beginners! | 12 PM - 2 PM
In this workshop, attendees will create their own dice bag to take home! Beginners and experienced sewists alike are welcome. You’ll practice basic stitches, then use them to hand-sew a pouch while relaxing with chat and smooth jazz.
Clay foam workshop | 2 PM - 4 PM
Foam clay — a soft, flexible, air-drying material perfect for adding sculpted details to cosplay. In this workshop you’ll try it out and even turn your piece into a keyring! Suitable for all ages.
Intro to Kumihimo | 4 PM - 5 PM
Kumihimo — an ancient Japanese braiding technique using strands of cord or ribbon. This beginner workshop will get you started on making your own kumihimo! Suitable for all ages.

Come meet someone new at Speed Friending! Pair up and chat about what your favourite anime is, the last book you read, or maybe which panel you’re going to next. Pairs will be rotated every few minutes so you will have a chance to chat to plenty of people during the panel!
Mafia (Anime edition) | 2 PM - 4 PM - Panel Room 2
An anime twist on the classic Mafia game of hidden roles and deception! Play as Demons, Spirit Seers, Yandere, Lovers, and more. The evil side plots to eliminate the innocent, while players debate, accuse, and try to survive. Who can you trust? Who’s hiding secrets? Join the drama!
Ultra Star Karaoke | 3 PM - 5 PM - Panel Room 1
Curious what happens when a passion for singing meets group fun with a dash of competition? Grab one of four microphones, pick from over 4,000 songs, and challenge your friends! Ship Wars (18+) | 6 PM - 7 PM - Panel Room 1/Workshops
Got your OTP? Or maybe your NOTP? In this chaotic debate game, teams draw random character cards, build the perfect (or perfectly cursed) pairing, and battle to prove their ship reigns supreme. Canon, crack, cursed, wholesome — all’s fair in love and fandom wars! The audience decides who sails to victory and who sinks into fandom history! With very special host: Super Eyepatch Wolf!
Charity Quiz (+16) | 7:30 PM - 9 PM - Panel Room 1/Workshops
Join us for a special Charity Quiz in support of Dogs Trust! Entry is free, and we’ll be raising funds to support this wonderful organisation. While there’s no charge to take part, we encourage donations to help Dogs Trust create a better future for dogs and their owners.
