Accessibility
Accessibility is important to us and we strive to make Okamicon as accessible as possible for our community. If you require additional assistance, please ask a volunteer or committee member. We are happy to help!
We love hearing feedback from the community, so if you have a suggestion to help us improve please let us know on our socials or contact form!
Navigating Okamicon:
For ramp access to the hotel, the entrance is to the left of the Main Entrance, beside the Restaurant Entrance. See the Event Map on our Venue page for more information.
Our event stretches between the Ground Floor and Floor 1 of the Royal Marine Hotel. On our map, we have highlighted how to get to the lift on the Ground Floor by traveling past the Ticket Desk area. More information on the venue layout can be found on our venue page.
Our Fan Tables can be accessed from a ramp on the Floor 1, accessed by exiting the lift and passing the Panel Room 1/Workshop room, marked on the right-hand-side of the map.
An accessible bathroom is located on Floor 1 next to the lift.
Where possible, doors will be kept open. If a door is closed and you require additional assistance, there will be volunteers/committee assigned in every room that are happy to help!
Panel Accessibility:
Our Main Stage will have a ramp available.
Our panel rooms and Main Stage will have accessible seating reserved in the front row of each room. Reserved seating will be marked with a sign.
All schedule details are available online with alt text. Check it out here.
Quiet Hours:
We have a quiet hour assigned both days for our Artist Alley/Trade Hall. During this time we will not be running any Main Stage events, and we ask attendees to be mindful of noise levels.
